The French streetpunk quartet BURNING LADY formed in 2008 after meeting each other at the local punkrock scene of their hometown Lille. The band consists of Sophie (Vocals), Alex (Bass), Mulder (Guitar) and Thomas (Drums). The French scene was very quickly intrigued by their streetpunk with hints of rock’n’roll and their energetic and passionate live performances soon got them tagged as a great live band leading to many support slots with bands like THE VIBRATORS, DEADLINE, CIVET, INNER TERRESTRIALS and many more.
2009 the band recorded and self-released their debut EP ‘Wasted Time’ and received great feedback from all over Europe. Female vocals mixed up with fast American influenced streetpunk – just like in Hell-Cats best days. Friends of RANCID, THE DISTILLERS, DEADLINE or even LUNACHICKS should get excited about this band!
On May 3rd, 2013 Concrete Jungle Records will release their debut album „Until The Walls Fall“ on CD, limited 12“ LP w/ clear vinyl & MP3 download code and as Digital Download. Great music, great attitude and a killer live show - BURNING LADY is definitely a band to check out!
