No, THE CONFESSION from Sweden are not Jesus Freaks as their band name might initially suggest. Rather, punkrock is their confession. And they have achieved absolute mastery at it. It is first-class streetpunk that plays easily in the league of other Swedish outfits like BOMBSHELL ROCKS and VOICE OF A GENERATION. OK, in Sweden there are streetpunk bands galore but not many of them have this talent for uniqueness. Songs such as "TRAITOR FUCK YOU!" or "TAKE IT BACK" have brilliant catchy tunes and leave an unforgettable mark on those who would listen. After listening to the fresh recordings for the first time we played the disc round-the-clock for days and - believe us - this does not happen too often! THE CONFESSION live punk and this is reflected in the music and the words that are based on real life and not on theoretical musings. This band certainly has all it takes to make it internationally.
